Frankenfish: Genetically engineered salmon close to FDA approval, Washington Times, posted to KBC 2/4/13. KBC NOTE: Obama administration bailed out Aquabounty, maker of Frankenfish. Monsanto is huge Obama contributor. Obama food czar is Monsanto attorney. GE salmon will not have to be labeled as such. FDA claims that Frankenfish are safe for humans and for the environment. Our Department of the Interior has fired, or ended scientific tasks, of Klamath scientists including ethics officer because they presented science that does not back Klamath Dam removal which is the Obama agenda along with destroying hatcheries that produce millions of salmon. The stated reason for Klamath dam removal is, the salmon MUST not be hatched in a fish hatchery, even though their genetics are identical to those hatched outside a hatchery, or it will harm humans and the environment. Interior secretary leaving post, Ken Salazar stepping down in March, H&N, posted to KBC 2/4/13. “ 'We had high hopes for (Salazar), with his (agriculture) background, but that didn’t happen . He decided to turn away from the citizens and toward environmental organizations,' Mallams said....Lucero said everything will continue to move forward, including the KBRA. The Interior department has funded studies related to the KBRA and the agreement stipulates the secretary of the interior is to determine whether removal of the Klamath River dams is feasible and in the public interest. Salazar was waiting for congressional approval before making a final determination." KBC NOTE: According to Klamath whistleblower and Federal Ethics Officer Dr. Paul Houser, Interior has already determined that the Klamath hydroelectric dams are to be destroyed, Houser was fired when he brought up concerns over the "science" hired by Interior, so he was fired. When 7 Klamath fisheries scientists presented science conflicting with Interiors, they were also terminated.
