River Basin Stakeholders were invited to a day long "Klamath
Summit" which occurred on 10 February 2022. Governor Brown,
Governor Newsom, Secretary Halland, Senator Merkley, Senator
Wyden, Congressman Bentz, Congressman LaMalfa, Congressman
Huffman, members of the Agencies within Interior to include
Commissioner Touton, representatives from the Department of
Commerce and Agriculture, Chair-people and representatives
of various tribes, fisheries, and other stakeholders
received updates on various funding opportunities and
programs recently made available to the Klamath Basin. The
briefings are available to review below."
"Representatives for the agriculture community were given a
brief opportunity to introduce themselves to this group. Our
concern of the pending 2022 train-wreck and long-term
concerns were acknowledged."
