Titus 2:11-14 - "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and world lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous to good works." sent by Frank Tallerico 8/31/14

VOTE - What should be done with the Klamath Bucket Brigade Bucket? VOTE The Bucket was to be temporarily moved from the Klamath Courthouse because a movie is taking place. However environmental activists who do not support farming in the Klamath Basin are advocating sticking it on the museum property or at the fair. In 2001 when water was shut off to 1400 family farms, the bucket was donated to Klamath Basin irrigators as a centerpiece in their war to keep the farming and ranching community intact. Although over 100,000 acres have been deprived of water these past 2 years, there are those who want the farmers and farm community to be history, as well as the Bucket. Go HERE for Klamath Bucket Brigade history

* The Klamath County Commissioners are also taking an email vote on where you want the Bucket, back at the downtown government building or elsewhere: bocc@klamathcounty.org

"According to Greg Addington, executive director of the Klamath Water Users Association, in the KBRA, a block of water is allocated for the Klamath Project and for the Klamath refuge complex...All the problems we’re seeing in the community related to water can be resolved with the Klamath Settlement Agreements...” Part of Commentary: "Take, for example, the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge. The complex has been perpetually short on water in recent years and a jump in power costs in 2004 has made pumping water to replenish wetlands prohibitively expensive....(Manager Ron Cole) estimates that in 2001 it cost 33 cents to pump an acre-foot of water onto the refuge. The cost to do the same to day is $9.20.

Psalm 19:1-4 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world." Sent by Frank Tallerico 8/23/14

It burned out of control for eleven days, destroying more than 30,000 acres of privately owned forestland. Backfires and burn-outs were employed so frequently that tens of thousands of acres of forests were needlessly destroyed...more than one of the backfires threatened the lives of landowners fighting to save their own property..."

< Oregon Senator Doug Whitsett and Rep. Gail Whitsett  Science of shutoffs, well water monitoring law aims to clarify ownership, H&N 2/7/14. “We fully support the OWRD authority to regulate wells that are materially interfering with senior water rights. However, we believe the state should be required to prove that the use of irrigation wells is materially and measurably harming a water right holder with a superior priority date,” Gail Whitsett said."

Hebrews 7:26-28  "For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people's, for He did once and for all when He offered up Himself. For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever." 2 Timothy 2:13-17  But evil men and imposers will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped in every good work. From Frank Tallerico for week of August 10.

Oregon's expansion of regulations of surface and groundwater use, by Senator Doug Whitsett 8/13/14. "What the Department is not making clear to the public is that their proposed permanent rules make substantial and critical changes to the existing emergency rule. The rule being proposed extends the Department’s authority beyond its regulation of surface-water, to include the regulation of groundwater under the preferential use of water for human and stock-water during drought. This rule appears to be another attempt by the Department to use its rule making powers to extend its authority to regulate surface water under the Klamath River Adjudication, to include the regulation of groundwater."

"Gary Derry, who is a member of the KWAPA and Shasta View Irrigation District boards, pointed out Shasta View’s power budget has increased from $36,000 in 2005 to $532,080 in 2014. This year’s figure is more than a half a million dollars despite at least $500,000 in energy improvements that have been made within the last five years, he said.... 'It’s absolutely outrageous.' Derry told the KWAPA board he has always believed the federal energy deliveries would be secured through political action. But from a KWAPA standpoint, Derry said, he thinks the board has hit a brick wall."

1 Peter 1:22-25  "Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives forever. Because "All flesh is as grass, and all glory of man as the flower of grass.  The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever."

The airport is used by Macy’s Flying Service and private individuals." Psalm 42:9-11:  I will say to God my rock, why have you forgotten me:  "Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of my enemy?"  As with a breaking of my bones, my enemies reproach me, while they say to me all day long, "Where is your God?"  "Why are you cast down, O my soul?"  And why are you disquieted within me?  Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.
